David K. Wollach
As Chairman of the Forvest Trust group of companies since 1982, David brings over 40 years of experience in the private banking and investment industry worldwide.
A Swiss private and investment banking group, Forvest Trust S.A. services high net-worth individuals, families, family offices & philanthropic organizations in the management of their worldwide assets. David has chaired licensed deposit-taking institutions & brokerage firms, and set up investment holding companies as well as insurance and mutual funds both private and public.
David sits on the board of a number of companies in a diverse range of industries including real estate, mutual funds, financial services, media, leisure and hospitality. Additionally, he has served as a board member for many philanthropic organizations, NGOs, professional associations and educational institutions such as the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the National Council for Economic Education. He has also been a founding member of the Swiss Asset Management Association, and a member of the Swiss Financial Analyst Association and Swiss Banking Association.
Committed to the social responsibility of the individual and to human values and integrity, David has initiated numerous programs and events to encourage dispute-resolution through mediation and the advancement of peace. These include a Center for Conflict Resolution in Jerusalem, the Independent Conference for Peace in former Yugoslavia, which took place in Geneva with the support of UNESCO and the City of Geneva, as well as social and educational projects in developing countries in Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
David has a Business Engineering degree specializing in Economics and Marketing. In honour of his significant social contributions and achievements, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem also honoured David with a Dr.h.c. in 2004.
